What isTrauma?

“I AM NOT WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. I AM WHAT I CHOOSE TO BECOME”

~ Carl Jung

“It’s okay to feel stuck.

That’s not where you have to stay.”

— Beverly Lutz

Trauma isn’t just about what happened to you—it’s about how those experiences continue to show up in your life.

Maybe certain memories feel like they’re on repeat, or you catch yourself reacting in ways you can’t quite explain.

You might notice it in your body—constant tension, trouble sleeping, feeling drained—or in your relationships, where it feels hard to stay connected without the fear of something falling apart.

It can leave you wondering why it’s so hard to “just move on,” even though you’ve tried.

Here’s what I want you to know: there’s nothing wrong with you.

Trauma has a way of shaping how we see ourselves, how we feel in our own skin, and how we move through the world. But it doesn’t have to stay that way.

In therapy, we’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you—untangling what’s stuck and helping you find relief, clarity, and trust in yourself again.

It is your divine right to heal.

Trauma may be part of your history, but it doesn’t have to define your future.
