What is Anxiety?

“TRUST YOURSELF. YOU’VE SURVIVED A LOT, AND YOU’LL SURVIVE WHATEVER IS COMING”

~ Robert Tew

“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.” — Corrie Ten Boom

Anxiety isn’t just in your head—it lives in your whole body.

Maybe you find yourself stuck in a loop, thinking about the same worry over and over, unable to quiet your mind—especially at night.

You feel tension in your shoulders, headaches creeping in, and that constant undercurrent of uneasiness, like something bad is always just around the corner.

Some days, it feels like you're walking on edge, tears just beneath the surface.

You might avoid certain places or people because it feels safer that way, or turn to food for comfort when nothing else seems to help.

How I Can Help

In therapy, we’ll gently explore the deeper roots of your worry and fears.

We’ll get curious about the parts of you that have been working overtime to keep you safe—the ones that show up as tension, racing thoughts, or avoidance.

As you begin to understand what’s underneath your anxiety, you’ll learn how to shift those patterns and develop tools to care for yourself in a healthier, more grounded way.

It’s possible to feel calm, present, and connected. Together, we’ll help you move toward the life you’ve been longing for.
